One of our all-time favorite BMWs is the E39 5 Series. It was a classic Bimmer, built to last and with a lot of performance. The M5 was the pinnacle of the whole series with its performance and reliability.
The guys from RRT Racing just hooked up a E39 M5 with a sport exhaust from Dinan and wanted to share the result with the whole BMW community, so they posted a video of the magnificent new sound on Vimeo.
The stock E39 M5 came with a 4.9-liter V8 S62 engine, 400 HP and a 7,000 RPM redline. It was, and still is a beast, especially when fitted with the OEM Wheels that inspire power just by looking at them.
The Dinan exhaust is well known for increasing the engine's power for about 5% and completely changing the overall tune. Going with this system you'll get a more discreet sound with a deeper note, especially at low RPM.
