Madonna Discovers the Seatbelt's Importance in the Back of a BMW M5

Back in 2001, BMW decided to create a short series called The Hire as a marketing scheme for promoting its best models of the moment. The series featured Clive Owen and a lot of important stars that were extremely popular back in those days.

One of the best clips to come out of this project featured Madonna and was directed by the brilliant Guy Ritchie. The star of the video, despite the 2 VIPs in it, was the iconic E39 M5 (the car that is currently regarded as the last true M5 to be built).

Even though the video is over 12 years old it still brings joy to our hearts, each time we watch it. Madonna played its part flawlessly (might be because she's like that everyday, but we can't know for sure) and Clive, with its british accent and sure hand make this one of the best videos BMW ever made.

Not to mention that seeing Madonna get trashed in the back seat of an E39 M5 is a rather unique experience (yes, we know that probably was a stunt double) and the sound of the S62 V8 engine will always get your blood pumping.

Sit back and enjoy!
