Knowing exactly what to do is not enough in case of an emergency situation. You also have to have the sense to do it, without losing your cool. In 2010, for example, there we're over 1.2 million fatalities caused by traffic accidents. Statistics say that's the most risky thing you can do. Most of us are doing it daily.
BMW, as always, is looking out for you in various ways. First, you have the safety features inside your car (airbags, safety belts, ABS, etc), then you have the way the car is built (passing EuroNCAP tests with flying colors) and then you have special courses meant to teach you what to do in case of an emergency.

They are organized at BMW dealerships and are held by professionals that know exactly what to do to teach you how to save your own and other people's lives. The course is made up of both practical and theoretical parts.

The guys from Autos.ca went to one of these and were more than impressed. Over the days spent in the BMW driver training program, they learned a lot of things, and that's coming from people that test cars for a living.

That's why we recommend checking out their full story at the Autos.ca website.
