It all started last year, when Bentley and Audi announced they were developing a V8 engine together. The, the first reports of the Continental wearing a V8 unit came out and here we are in January 2010 witnessing the actual launch of the Continental GT V8.
The adjacent clip gives us the vehicle's Detroit Auto Show debut - you can see how the color from the press photos looks in real life (with very low light if we're honest). As we previously reported, the V8 version starts at EUR161,840, which is EUR22,134 less than the W12 model - a Bentley source offered us the pricing (German market) and the options list for the V8 model.
Bentley has big plans for the new Continental, as the vehicle is also much greener compared to the W12 model and is also expected to bring new customers to the brand.
