Bentley Continental GT Speed at Goodwood

The fastest Bentley ever arrived, the Continental GT Speed, was spotted yesteday, willing and eager to make its debut at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The car is powered by the usual W12 engine, this time producing 625 PS and 800 Nm.
The new 205 mph (329 km/h) version of the Continental GT was filmed by Shmee150 as it has getting into the paddocks. The car has a slightly different look and a powerful sound which you can hear in the blips and revs.

“For nearly a decade, the Bentley Continental GT has defined high luxury, high performance grand touring and the unique W12 engine has been so successful that Bentley is now the world’s largest producer of 12-cylinder engines. The new GT Speed with its harder-edged, sportier character reaffirms this pinnacle positioning and continues to broaden the worldwide appeal of the Continental coupe,” said Wolfgang Durheimer, Bentley’s Chairman and Chief Executive.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
