I think we can all agree that Batman is cool. He may take a beating from Superman in a 1v1 fight any day of the week, but the guy who still doesn't know where the underwear goes (though it's in the name) has nothing on the dark knight when it comes to sheer presence.
The reason Batman is the embodiment of cool doesn't lie with the man behind the mask, but with the mask itself, so to speak. It's the gear that turns Bruce Wayne from your somewhat typical billionaire into the last thing bad guys see before it all goes dark. And a very important part of his panoply is his choice of wheels.

Designing the Batmobile was always a big decision to make. It got to the point where seeing the new design for the first time was one of the pivotal moments of the movie for some people, myself included. Picking a favorite out of the 1986 design used in Tim Burton's movie and the Tumbler in Chris Nolan's "Dark Knight" is almost impossible. Plus, it looks like the muscle car-inspired one from the upcoming movie will make it a trio of very different and great answers to the same problem.

Encho Enchev's proposition takes a slightly different route. Encho is a concept designer and senior 3d artist for game developer Ubisoft and looking at his Behance page, that becomes instantly obvious. You can lose the good part of a day gawking over his drawings and renderings, so consider this a warning before accessing the link above. What do you mean "that's not how warnings go?" Oh, you're right.

Well, it's not like you won't spend a few good minutes checking out this Batmobile 500 GT RS rendering anyway. The name hints at this being kind of a tongue-in-cheek effort, as does the bright yellow accents on the Batmobile - you half expect Batman to climb out of the car in full gear but wearing his running shoes.

However, Encho included one picture where the car gets a dark camouflage paintwork, and that looks properly menacing. It might be the two miniguns sitting each side of the cabin (it's definitely that) that give it a "don't mess with me" vibe, but the more sober color scheme helps too.

Overall, the design looks like something Bruce Wayne would take to a track day. He'd have to replace the wheels since the off-road tires the rendering has on would provide next to no grip, but other than that it looks ready to corner at high speeds and bomb it down the straights. Plus, it has the added benefit of being able to blow anyone that doesn't move aside quickly enough off the track. That's double the fun of your ordinary track experience.
