Yes, we know, we're a little late for the season that required us to acquire leaf blowers. Nevertheless, since we were lazy and decided to skip this phase last year, we are now planning to be well prepared when that time of the year comes again.
Since we like our hardware solid, we came up with a solution that, in theory, should keep our driveways clean and our emotions on the positive side.
We're talking about the Audi RS5 in the video below, whose owner decided to put the German coupe to use around the house.
Now, as it should happen when starting any project, we must ask ourselves whether the idea is viable or not.
Let's be honest, using a 450 hp Audi as a lead blower won't be the most efficient way of cleaning up after the autumn's caprices. And yet, this might just be the best chore anybody can do. Heck, we've even come up with an enhancement, all in the name of improving the efficiency of the process.
Since we've seen more than one RS5 using air springs, with the setup being controlled through an iPhone app these days, individual axle control could allow the driver to play with the angle of the gas exiting those massive tailpipes.
If you have any ideas on how to improve the method, feel free to express them in the comment section below.
Speaking of which, the naturally aspirated V8 under the hood of this Audi no longer uses its factory exhaust. Instead, the owner has turned to Capristo for a custom system.
This way, everybody can hear him, so they all know the man is hard at work. This obviously requires a strict working schedule, but we think it's a small price to pay for the aural benefits offered by such a job.
