Audi has revealed the interior of the Q6 e-tron, just weeks after showing the exterior design of the EV. It is a high-tech space with three displays: an instrument cluster, a touchscreen for the infotainment system, and a front passenger screen.
The Audi Q6 e-tron is the company's first EV underpinned by the new PPE platform, which was co-developed with Porsche. The Q6 e-tron will be followed by the Macan EV. Audi is unveiling the model bit by bit. Now we get to see the interior of the car that slots between the Q4 and Q8 e-tron, just weeks after the German carmaker revealed the exterior design.

Audi mentions a three-dimensional spatial architecture with aesthetics and ergonomics perfectly tuned to the occupants. Inside the Q6 e-tron, we are dealing with an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, which provides relevant data regarding driving. Meanwhile, the MMI panoramic infotainment screen is 14.5 inches and features a curved design and OLED technology.

An app store and a digital assistant, which is designed to learn from the driver's behavior, are available. The owner's routine will teach the assistant to come up with proactive suggestions. The digital assistant can be activated by saying 'Hey Audi!' similar to Mercedes' MBUX.

The car comes with a new electronics platform, the E3, and is based on Android Automotive, developed in cooperation with Volkswagen Group's software company Cariad.

The optional 10.9-inch MMI front passenger display has an active privacy mode with shutter technology, which allows the passenger to watch movies without distracting the driver or assist them with navigation, for instance.

The augmented reality head-up display is also optional. It shows driving info, traffic signs, and navigation details, projecting them to appear up to 656 feet (200 meters) in front of the car.

There is also an interaction light strip that encompasses the upper dashboard, displaying the charging status, vehicle status, and safety, visualizing the dynamic turn signals. The Bang & Olufsen premium audio system integrates 22 speakers, with four of them located in the front headrests, for a premium sound experience.

A flat-bottom steering wheel enhances the sporty ambiance on board the Audi Q6 e-tron. The cabin of the EV is eco-friendly, with floor mats that are made from recycled fishing nets, carpets, and industrial waste.

The S Line trim gets recycled Elastic Melange fabric, as well as Dinamica microfiber. But customers can also check the ones for the Nappa leather with diamond stitching, sweetgum, and birch wood trim, and brushed aluminum.

The luggage compartment offers 18.6 cubic feet (526 liters) of space, which goes all the way to 54 cubic feet (1,529 liters) with the rear seats' backrests folded down. The frunk sports 2.3 cubic feet (64 liters) of space.

The Audi Q6 e-tron should break cover sometime in 2024 and hit the market later on, as a 2025 model year.
