Winter holiday tale: you, with your friends on a ski trip, with your SUV, which is all mighty, great on snow & ice and so on. However, when you stop, get in and out of the car and snow starts entering the cabin, you realize that your SUV is just as unfriendly to you as it is with the snow it tramples.
However, Audi is here to solve this problem, with the answer to it coming in the form of the Audi Q3 Vail concept, which was unveiled at the North American International Auto Show.

The vehicles borrowed its name from the famous Colorado skiing location. Like many skier, it wears a red (Energy Red, to be more precise) coat. It relies on 20-inch rims to play through the snow and comes with a multifunctional roof rack that can cater to your recreational needs.

Inside the car, we find goodies such as a cargo compartment gifted with a heated carpet, which offers you a warm area for when you’re handling your ski boots, a custom Thermos that sits in a cup holder and others.

The Q3 Vail Concept is powered by a 2.5-liter, five-cylinder turbocharged unit that delivers 314 hp and a peak torque of 400 Nm (295 lb-ft), which sends the power to the ground using an S-Tronic seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox and the carmaker’s quattro AWD system.

On the road, the vehicle plays in the sports car league, with a 0 to 62 mph sprint of 5.5 seconds and a top speed of 262 km/h (163 mph).
