ABT Sportsline is now offering us its take on the Audi A5 Sportback’s facelifted version, the AS5 Sportback. The tuner targets the tech area of the vehicle, also offering a few exterior upgrades for the niche model.
ABT starts at the bottom of the engine range, with the 1.8-liter TFSI being pushed from 170 to 211 hp. The 2.0-liter TFSI, which delivers 211 hp in stock form, was taken to 270 hp, while the 3.0-liter TFSI V6 was boosted from 272 to 380 hp. The tuner offers a custom exhaust system that not only changes the voice of the engines, but also comes with quadruple tailpipes that draw attention to the car.
The ABT AS5 Sportback can also be fitted with a lowering suspensions - customers can choose between a ride height reduction of 25 or 50 mm. The vehicle can ride on multiple types of lightweight alloy wheels, which come in a 19- or in a 20-inch size.
As for the exterior of the A5 Sportback, this receives a front lip spoiler, fender-mounted air vents, as well as a rear fascia that includes a diffuser element.
