The doors of the Paris Motor Show have not yet closed, and already ABT has revealed what it wants to to with the recently unveiled third-generation Audi A3.
The project has been dubbed AS3 and aims to increase power across the range of engines, at the same time making the A3 more sporty with a custom body kit styled from the S3 and custom wheels.
On the engine front, ABT wants to take the 2013 A3’s 220 PS 2.0-liter TSI and give it 280 PS, push the 1.4 TSI from 140 to 170 PS, and on the diesel front boost the base 150 PS 2.0 TDI to 180 PS and the 184 PS TDI to 210 PS.
On the cosmetic front, the A3 has been fitted with a new ABT-style grille, a front apron with a protruding chin, side skirts, a roof spoiler and a rear apron with built-in diffuser. ABT can also shoe the A3 in 18- or 19-inch wheels.
