Aston Martin Works, the company’s division that handles special projects, today announced that it will display a fully restored DB5, as well as a DB6 barn-find that will be redone in the future at the Goodwood Revival.
The two vehicles will be the heart of the Aston Martin Works booth at the UK’s top classic car racing event, which is scheduled to take place Goodwood Motor Circuit between September 14 nad 16.

The DB5 we’re talking about has just gone to a complete restoration process that took 14 months to complete in the Newport Pagnell workshops. The vehicle, which is destined for a Chinese customer, is the first restored Aston Martin to wear the Works coachbuilder badge.

“As a counterpoint to the restored DB5 we will be displaying alongside it a barn-find DB6 which we plan to restore to a similar level of perfection. We think it will be fascinating for visitors to see what can be achieved from a very modest starting point,” said General Manager Graham Darby.
