Let’s face it, the Nissan GT-R may be unbelievably fast and its voice may sound like that of Godzilla at the limit, but when you’re driving in everyday traffic, its soundtrack isn’t exactly inspirational. This is where the tuning world steps in and they crew over at Artmytrix now claims they’ve got the best-sounding GT-R exhaust on this side of the galaxy.
They’ve provided the adjacent clip to show us what this exhaust can do for your GT-R-s voice. While the clip does offer some truly sweet samples of twin-turbo V6 audio, we still can’t figure out if the exhaust sound good on moderate loads, the kind you can use everyday.

Nevertheless, Armytrix’s Nissan GT-R exhaust promises a weight loss of lbs (2 kg), while the power and torque are boosted by about 10 percent each.

Just as important, the system features wireless butterfly valves. These allow the driver to choose between three modes in order to control the sound.

“In open mode, the valves are fully open for maximum flow and power, high-flow catalytic converters creating an F1-inspired deep sporty sound. When the valves are closed, volume is reduced for a more low-profile, comfortable drive, specially in auto mode, the valve system can detect the engine RPM and fuel pedal signal to automatically adjust the valve movements,” the tuner brags.
