The Touring Arese RH95 Vento D'Oro is a Ferrari in disguise, wearing a spectacular mask of real gold. An Italian coachbuilder will only build 18 such super-exclusive supercars tagged as RH95. But only one has been dipped in gold.
Touring Superleggera has come up with a new iteration of the original Arese RH95, which made its debut in 2021, based on the Ferrari F8 Tributo. This time, we are dealing with the Vento D'Oro, which is Italian for "Wind of Gold." It is a one-off model built by hand, a showstopper that sports gold leaf accents all over its body, blending opulence with high performance.

The model was unveiled at The Engine Room in Doha, Qatar, in the presence of the Qatari elite society, as a collaboration between Touring Superleggera and Alfardan Sports Motors, highlighting that it targets the super-rich of the Middle East.

It is made around a custom-built carbon fiber bodywork from the original Arese Rh95. Touring Superleggera does not mention what the "well-known exotic mid-engine donor car" is, but it is not rocket science. There are elements pointing to a Ferrari 488.

This car radiates an aura that commands attention and admiration, the coachbuilder says. And it might be right. The Arese RH95 measures 188.3 inches (4,782 millimeters) of elegance, 78 inches (1,982 millimeters) of style, and 49.6 inches (1,259 millimeters) of exclusivity.

The coachbuilder explains that the model is inspired by the vibrant shades of the desert. The body is painted in White Morning Frost and sports contrasting Golf Leaf accents. And yes, that is real gold, covering the front splitter, coachline, side skirts, while gold strips stretch on the hood and rear diffuser.

Meanwhile, there are accents in gold on the 20-inch wheels, contrasting with the black spokes.

The black and gold found room inside as well. The seats are wrapped in white leather and Alcantara. Touring Leggera redesigned the climate vents, while a divider showed up on the center console.

However, customers can go for pretty much any customization option they can think of in one of the 18 Arese RH95 examples, which are set to see the light of day.

It is longer and wider than a Ferrari 488 GTB

The model is powered by a 3.9-liter mid-mounted twin-turbocharged V8 engine that pumps out 661 horsepower (670 metric horsepower) and 561 pound-feet (760 Newton meters) of torque if it is the 488 GTB that we are dealing with. It would be a 710-horsepower (720-metric horsepower) affair if the car is based on the 488 Pista. No matter the oomph, it should flash from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 kph) in around 3 seconds.

A gold plaque shows up under the hood to indicate the names of the craftsmen who worked on the car. It also shows that the car that we have in front of our eyes is number 5 out of 18 examples planned to go into production.

It takes 5,000 hours for each car to end up looking like this from the moment it enters the Touring Superleggera shop. And that look is the next best thing to perfection.

We are not told the price of so much work put into a gold, exclusive Ferrari. But we should start with this: back in 2021, the Arese RH95 started at 1.58 million, which translates to $1.72.
