It had been a while since we last saw an example of arab drifting and the lack of it made sense. After all, Saudi Arabia has filed hagwalah, this rather idiotic form of drifting, under “criminal offense”. Alas, it seems the practice is back and with a notable change, albeit not the expected one.
Skipping the usual front-wheel drive sedans, the men in white turned to a Dodge Charger. This is not the SRT8, but they do have the patience to take it up to almost 140 mph (220 km/h) before they start the usual wheel-turning frenzy.
By the way, we thing we may have figured out their secret - judging by the extreme level of agitation within the car, the drifting may be caused by the passengers rocking the car. We’re kidding, of course, but these guys aren’t. They’re just plain irresponsible, sliding the Charger around in traffic, as they always do.
Seatbelts? You must be into humor again... Not only does such a notion spell “ridiculous” inside this Charger, but the rear passenger even gets out the window at a certain point.
And if we are to focus on the driver’s behavior, he does show a certain level of skill, but it all goes down the drain when he spins the Dodge out of control. Fortunately, the... crashy part of the adventure didn’t happen this time, or at least we didn’t get to see it.
