We all love our first car, but most of us got to live with it until it became a pain in the butt, so when its time finally came, we were actually glad to get rid of it. We got to have closure, but this old man did not.
He has become a bit of an internet sensation after smashing his grandson's PlayStation 4 with a wrench because he did not bake him Christmas cookies. Yes, that scenario sounds fishy as hell, but apparently people bought it, so the video got over 26 million views.

That meant Angry Grandpa turned into a full YouTube show that constantly gets around one million views per video. Because people love to see fake stuff that's only marginally funny. Well, if reality TV was once a thing, we guess it had to have an Internet correspondent.

But if you watch the videos, you'll notice that Angry Grandpa may be a lot of things (angry included), but he's not a particularly good actor. Which means that the clip you are about to see is probably real.

It all revolves around Angry Grandpa's sad story involving a 16-year-old himself and a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. Apparently, he got the car from his parents, but when his sister and her husband had to go to California, they decided to give them the new vehicle for the trip. The Chevy broke down on the way, and the couple sold it to a junkyard, so Angry Grandpa never got to see it again.

All those YouTube views translated into money, so the son who is obviously running the channel and somewhat making money off his dad decided to repay the old man by getting him the car he's been dreaming of since he was 16.

But in order to make sure he was able to keep getting his dad these presents in the future, he decided to make a video out of it. In true reality TV style, he tricks the man into believing they just happened to come across the car, just so he can have him tell the story himself and jerk a tear from the audience.

Later on the same day - assuming they weren't just wearing the same clothes the day after - he arranges to have the car dropped to their house. The scene managest o be both happy and sad - happy because the old man seems to be genuinely thrilled about the wheels, even though it's clearly not a clean '55 Bel Air, and sad because we just don't like the idea of exploiting a man's emotions for financial gains. Then again he did smash that PS4, plus he's getting a Chevrolet Bel Air, so maybe he's alright after all.
