American Chopper Back on Discovery

The American Chopper: A Family Divided special show, which aired on Discovery in the beginning of the week, appears to have been only the beginning of the show's return to the Discovery Channel. Until now aired by sister television TLC as American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior, the very successful story of the Teutul family will come back to where it all started on Monday, December 6.

The switch is attributed to Clark Bunting, the channel's general manager, who also has made a comeback to Discovery. With him, the show will take its rightful place back on the grid that made the two Pauls famous.

"I was incredibly proud to have been with 'American Chopper' at the very beginning," Bunting said according to Variety. "And in a year that saw signature series like 'Deadliest Catch' and 'Shark Week' have their best years ever, I'm thrilled to bring such an iconic Discovery Channel series back to its roots."

It's still unclear where the Teutul family will arrive with their feud, or whether the return to origins will also mean the reconciliation of father and son. Most of you already saw what was supposed to be some sort of confession for all parties involved last Monday, when Teutuls tried to present, each, their side of the story.

However, we here at autoevolution somehow feel that was what really important got lost on the way. Caught in between Paul, Paulie, Mickey and whomever, most of us lost track of what the crew was doing best at one point. No, not arguing, but bikes. We hope to see more of those on the new show.
