American Chopper: A Family Divided Premieres on Nov. 29

It's been a busy year for the Teutul family, with both Pauls caught in a bitter battle for the hearts and minds of the audience. In an ironic twist, the on-screen celebrity of the two sky-rocketed soon after problems drove father and son apart.

Trying to capitalize on this reality-soap opera, Discovery Channel announced this weekend it will push the feelings of the family behind Orange County Choppers to the extreme in a very special show which will air on Monday, November 29.

Called American Chopper: A Family Divided, the show is intended to be a completely new approach to the problems the Teutuls have had recently. In the world premiere special, the main characters, Paul Sr., Paul Jr., and Mikey will be taking a closer look to the reasons which led to the separation of what once was one mighty crew.

“In the emotional new November 29 special, the Teutul family take a close look at where their family is now and how and why it fell apart,” Discovery's show synopsis reads.

“New interviews from all three explore the key events that led to Paul Sr.'s estrangement from his sons. With so much bad blood between them, can the Teutuls ever hope to reconcile and become a family again?”

Judging by the huge number of fans who have a say in the matter, we bet Monday's show will stir a new wave of opinions coming from those who feel somewhat connected to the show. For the record, from what we can gather from our readers, Paul Jr. is clearly considered both the victim and the genius behind OCC. Perhaps American Chopper: A Family Divided will shed some more light on Sr.'s reasons for drifting away from his sons.
