Amanda Bynes Arrested for DUI Again: She Was on a Stimulant

Actor-turned into fashion student Amanda Bynes was arrested the other day, after officers determined that she drove while being under the influence of an unknown controlled substance. It’s the second time the All That star is being charged for DUI, which is even worse considering she just managed to surpass her allegedly drug addiction and other problems with the law.

Amanda Bynes was arrested in Los Angeles, Sunday, after cops determined she was driving under the influence of what the officers called a “stimulant.” According to TMZ, it would seem the former actor is once again in trouble with her addiction to weed.

Bynes was driving her Mercedes in the San Fernando Vally when she stopped in the middle of an intersection on Van Nuys Blvd. After an officer spotted her and determined she was DUI, Bynes ended up to the LAPD Van Nuys division. Even though toxicology tests are being performed as we speak to determine the exact drug or drugs, she was definitely under the influence of a stimulant.

Reports are Amanda bailed out after posting $15,000 but trouble is definitely not over, considering her long list of records. In March 2012, Bynes was stopped and ticketed by police for talking on a cell phone while driving. One month latter she was arrested and charged with DUI after side-swiping a police car in West Hollywood. Couple of months later, things got even worse, with Amanda being charged for two alleged hit and rung incidents, charges later own dismissed after a financial settlement between the former actor and the victims.
DUI, sexual harassment, marijuana addiction
As to the DUI charge, Bynes was once again lucky considering the charge was dropped and Bynes was sentenced to three years of probation for reckless driving as part of a plea deal. But this is not the only times she had problems with the law, considering she was also arrested for criminal possession of marijuana, attempted tampering with evidence and reckless endangerment, in 2013.

Following her arrest, Bynes underwent a psychiatric evaluation at a hospital before she was processed at the police station. On May 25th, Bynes claimed she was sexually harassed by the arresting officer: “[He] slapped my vagina. Sexual harassment. Big deal.” After the police department denying the accusation, the case was dismissed in June, this year.

The story could go on. Point is, the last few months Bynes agreed with medical care in a private facility and counseling over her marijuana incident. The fashion student did, however, sent feedback to her fans on Twitter, denying the recent DUI charge.
