After a lot of adding up, subtracting and other calculations, the final numbers for the BMW Group's sales on a worldwide scale for October came in and they are better than anyone had hoped for.
In the 10th month of the year, the sales reached record-breaking levels, again, this year's October rising to the number on spot in the history of the company's records. The growth recorded reached 5.2 percent, adding up to 165,851 vehicles.

With another all-time high score posted, a new record has been posted over the first 10 months of the year. The total growth recorded year-to-date reached 7.3 percent, adding up to 1,602,018 units compared to 2012's 1,493,154 vehicles.

“We remain on track with a new all-time high in sales in October and in the first ten months, despite the continued headwinds in some European markets. We are confident that sales will continue to develop positively until the end of the year and we will continue to strive for profitable growth. The BMW Group maintains its position as the leading manufacturer of premium vehicles worldwide,” said Ian Robertson, Member of the Board of Management of BMW AG, responsible for Sales and Marketing BMW.
