There are not too many Alfa Romeo concepts to match the elegance and sportiness of the 8C Competizione model. Somehow, an Italian designer named Aurelio Argentieri is getting very close to those lines with his new concept.
The Alfa Romeo Stradale concept imagined by Argentieri was aimed to be a successor of the 8C Competizione.
"I wanted to create a possible successor to the 8C basing on the trademark core values of the brand, which is a symbol of motorsports but without too futuristic elements," he explains.
Englobing classic Alfa Romeo design cues and having a low profile, the Stradale Concept is said to be 4,440 mm (173.3 inches) long, 1,930 mm (76 inches) wide and 1,250 mm (49.2 inches) tall. Also, the designer said that unlike the classic front engine and rear wheel drive setup, his concept has a mid-mounted engine. A bit strange, judging by the car’s lack of air vents.
