Alfa Romeo is preparing to re-offer its superb cars to the United States market and rumors are that the next generation MiTo will get there too.
Fiat Group wants to offer the 2015 MiTo to the US buyers along with the 4C model and a new C6. There are some rumors that the new MiTo may come back in two versions - as the normal three-door hatch that it is now, or as a compact crossover coupe like the BMW X4 or Audi A1 Sportback. It is possible that the car may be produced in both these body styles to accommodate to different markets.
Power may come from the next-gen two-cylinder Fiat TwinAir (two-cylinder turbo) engine that will make 100 hp and a bigger 4-cylinder turbocharged MutiAir engine that will generate 200 hp. Also, a plug-in hybrid might be available.
