Now that Alfa Romeo is on its way to an all-too-cool US return, we thought we could help, especially since all the delays are starting to draw attention.
Sure, many celebrities enjoy playing the late arrival card when invited to certain celebrations, but the Giulia's behavior is starting to take a toll on its diva future.
So, how may we be of marketing assistance? Well, since the Italians haven't exactly been a key pillar of the US automotive landscape lately, perhaps we could convince people that Alfa has been here all along, but the public has failed to notice it.
After all, we have heard wild rumors of the Turin people having entered the nutrition industry to ease the US market re-entry. Sure, it may all sound like a joke, but make sure you check out the video below before you start laughing.
We're dealing with the nose of an Alfa Romeo 147, one that gives a whole new meaning to the Alfa Romeo grille. Truth be told, the 147 can be the car that roasts you, even if you're the driver of another car and not a piece of meat ready to be cooked, but the Italian hatchback would need one of the following two ingredients to achieve such a feat.
The scenario would either require an extra toping of bends, which would see the Alfa putting its enticing handling to good use, or the 250 HP GTA incarnation of the 147. While the latter is not the fastest hot hatch of its era, having a V6 hidden in its nose does make it special enough. And possibly more useful than the 147 barbecue grill you'll be able to find behind the "play" button below (grilling tool tip to Redditor scar0030 for the footage).
The heat exchange machine was caught on camera at the Paqpaqli Ghall-Istrina, Malta's largest annual motoring event. Which is not in the US, so we'll have to rethink our marketing strategy here.
P.S.: With Alfa's Q (Quadrifoglio) badge added to the mix, the healthy seasoning is on the house.
