We'll have to wait until next year to see the first examples of the 2020 Porsche 911 reaching their owners. However, we can always turn to real-world photos in our effort to pass the times and we've brought you just that for today.
The 992 Porsche 911 Carrera S we have here comes dressed in a shade called Agate Grey. This is an optional color, being part of the Metallic tier, which means you would have to pay $830 for it to cover your Neunelfer.
We adore such shades, since they help the 911 connect to its family three even further, as they enhance the understated aura of the design.
Oh, and note that since this example of the rear-engined coupe comes with those massive oval tailpipes, it packs the Sport Exhaust option (the standard hardware comes with a quadruple layoyut featuring smaller pipes).
Now, we need to mention that the lighting conditions in which the image was taken, as well as any editing, can dramatically change the look of the color. In fact, if you'll check out the pair of Instagram posts at the bottom of the page (the first is the original), you'll easily notice this.
And if you zoom in on the images in the mini-gallery above, you'll notice how Agate Grey looks in the official Porsche 911 configurator.
Of course, there will always be Porschephiles who wish to see the fresh lines of the 992 covered in bright shades that help the sportscar stand out.
Well, as those of you who are tuned into our Neunelfer tales know, we've previously brought you other real-world pics of the eight-generation Porsche 911, with one of these involving a Carmine Red example of the Zuffenhausen machine.
And we have to admit there's one color we're eager to check out in the real world. We're refering to Aventurine Green Metallic, which is new for the 992.
