We are currently in the review phase for the 992 Porsche 911, so the new Neunelfer won't land in showrooms until next year. As such, it might seem a bit early to talk about a tuned example. However, there are already aftermarket developers out there who are preparing projects based on the 2020 Porsche 911.
And while none of them has announced any details so far, we've brought along something to help tuning fans pass the time. We're referring to a render portraying a modded 922.

The pixel play comes from X-Tomi, a digital label whose creations we featured on multiple occasions.

As you can notice in the image we have here, the rear-engined toy has been gifted with a front splitter, fat wings, side skirts, rear apron mods and a rear wing.

The wing actually seems reasonable for such a project, especially if we think about the face that its profile seems to be slightly tamer compared to what the 992 Porsche 911 GT3 will bring - as prototypes have shown, the generation change is set to deliver a noticeable aero boost.

We must also mention the carbon roof and hood, which remind us of the Weissach Package offered on the 991.2 GT3, as well as the unique shade of the machine.

Then we have the new shoes, which seem to come from Vossen Wheels - featuring a concave design and a multi-spoke layout, these allow us to take a look at the generous stopping hardware of the sportscar.

We always keep an eye out for Porsche 911-based projects and we can't wait to bring the first real-life 992 tuner rides to you. Meanwhile, we'll remind you of the wildest 991 build we've featured to date, namely the manual 911 GT3 RS.

Speaking of wacky Porsche 911 builds, there are also the rat rods based on air-cooled models, which get chopped by a French shop.
