Aftermarket Ford Flex Models Prepared for SEMA

Everybody agrees that Ford Flex is an excellent car model for aftermarket companies who make a living customizing the base model with several high-performance parts. Even Ford's marketing manager said that Flex was especially designed for this purpose, with a couple of tuning parts available right in dealerships. Because of that, the upcoming Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) auto show held in Las Vegas is expected to bring several aftermarket Flex models, with multiple companies announcing unique project vehicles.

2009 Ford Flex by 3dCarbon includes a 10-piece body kit with front air dam, 4-piece side skirts, rear lower skirt and upper roof spoiler. In addition, it features 24-inch rims with super low profile tires and custom paint made by House of Kolor. The interior was customized with Katzkin leather and a surround system provided by Sony.

The 2009 Ford Flex by Catalyst Industrial Marking comes with several unique components, starting with Timeless Brushed Metal parts (mirror covers, rear door fascia) and ending with LIIV, a special system which brings wireless Internet straight into the car, offering features such as browsing, e-mail, online games and file downloads.

The Kal Koncepts/Air Syndicate Inc. Ford Flex was especially designed for hip-hop lovers, offering 22-inch Dub spinners with a high-power Sony Xplod audio system and a rear-mounted DJ station.

Mobsteel's Ford Flex features a Mobsteel black paint job with custom fascias and 24-inch Mobsteel forged wheels. The chassis is enhanced with Air Runner front struts, Low Rider Depot air management and Magnaflow Performance cat back exhaust.

The CGS Motorsports Ford Flex includes 22-inch wheels with a completely new bodykit featuring a two-tone custom paint. If the interior was customized with leather, the exhaust and the air intakes were reshaped to give the car a whole new “artistic” look.
