Like any market that keeps expanding, the tiny house market comes with many forgettable designs and a few gems that have what it takes to pass the test of time. Whether brand-new or a few years old, they can be considered true classics in terms of style harmony, living comfort, efficiency, and sustainability. The newly-built Cozy Contemporary from "The Get Out House" is one that can be passed down through generations.
Some contemporary tiny houses seem to have nothing in common with the essence of tiny living if we define that as minimalism, affordability, high functionality, and overall efficiency. They’re either too expensive or too complicated, mixing wide proportions with quirky design hacks that end up making the space uncomfortable in the long run.

Despite its name, The Cozy Contemporary sticks to these classic principles, which makes it one of those choices that you can't go wrong with. A beautiful blend of rustic features and glamorous accents, The Cozy Contemporary is versatile without being contradictory. It doesn't claim to revolutionize the industry with unprecedented layouts or fancy style elements.

It follows the basic rules of a simple layout with a kitchen and a bathroom on the main floor and one loft bedroom. Yet, it does so in such a balanced way that you'd hardly feel the need to add or take anything away. Contemporary stands for top-notch plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances; cozy means plenty of space inside the bedroom, the right mix of openness and privacy, plus easy access and the ability to move around without constraints.

The Cozy Contemporary comes on a 24-foot (7.3 meters) trailer, offering a generous living space of a little over 250 square feet (23 square meters). Many have said that the trailer is crucial when it comes to a home on wheels' durability and overall quality. This particular tiny sits on a dual-axle trailer, custom-built for tiny houses. It's fitted with structural wheel walls and steel sheathing underneath for effective protection against water and critters.

Once inside, you'd first notice the spacious, well-equipped kitchen. Thanks to the granite countertops in steel grey and premium appliances, it looks like a chef's kitchen. There's enough room for a Whirlpool black stainless steel refrigerator, a Samsung microwave, and an electric countertop range.

Everything is integrated with flawless precision, which adds to the luxurious effect. Generous storage is always a plus, and The Cozy Contemporary's kitchen, with strategically placed cabinets and overheads, doesn't disappoint.

The grey granite countertops and tiled backsplash in a similar tone create a compelling contrast with the rustic-looking floor and staircase. The wooden staircase with ample integrated storage is one of the classic tiny house features. The one inside the Cozy Contemporary is executed beautifully, and the wooden railing ramps up style and comfort while adding a sophisticated touch. With this simple yet functional element, this tiny instantly feels more comfortable, like a traditional family home.

The contemporary industrial theme continues in the bathroom, with an elegant vanity similar to the kitchen countertops and the same striking contrast to the bright white, farmhouse-style walls. Modern lighting, generous storage, a tiled shower, and a conventional toilet elevate this bathroom to a luxurious level.

A well-integrated window brings in natural light and fresh air. The house is also designed to feature a compost or incinerator toilet for customers looking for more sustainability and self-reliance.

Functionality is also reflected in the dedicated space for a washer/dryer unit, neatly squeezed in between the kitchen and the bathroom, with some extra storage too. We're not talking about an unusually large kitchen or bathroom. Both are compact, yet the perfect integration of high-quality appliances makes them highly functional and visually more spacious.

Another classic addition to any tiny home is the extended countertop doubling as a breakfast bar. Placed in front of the large windows, it offers an excellent little nook for enjoying meals or even working from home. This breakfast bar is also integrated in a way that eliminates clutter and takes almost no space at all without sacrificing comfort.

The beautifully-crafted staircase leads to The Cozy Contemporary's only sleeping area, the loft bedroom. At 10 x 7.5 feet (3 x 2.2 meters), this bedroom is truly spacious for a house this size. There's plenty of room for a king-size mattress in addition to the built-in horizontal cabinets with extra shelves.

Once again, modern light fixtures create the perfect ambiance, in conjunction with the large windows on each side of the bed, for efficient airflow. A metallic black railing adds safety and privacy without constricting the available space. Style-wise, it's a sophisticated extension of the wooden staircase railing with the visual effect of a luxury home loft space.

The Cozy Contemporary is NOAH-certified and up for grabs, asking for $92,000. With its elegant exterior and classic layout, it could be the perfect home for a single owner or a couple and a wonderful inspiration for anybody else.
