Don’t you act like you haven’t had that experience, going to your dad asking for the keys of his beloved classic Mustang and getting a proper NO in response. We all went through something similar as we grew up, becoming the petrolheads we are today. However, we never went on and destroyed the car to prove a point, like these punks apparently did. And that's not even the best part of the story.
The Carmageddon scene happened last week at B&R Auto Repair in Ogden, Utah and according to the Weber County Sheriff’s office quoted by KSL, at least six juveniles were involved in the incident. Investigators said the punks were all between 14 and 16 years of age. They cut a hole in the fence of the secured lot where the vehicles were being stored and entered it.

Then, they burglarized some of the vehicles and stole the keys to several others. And here’s when things went all 49 shades of auto blow, as the teens drove several cars around the lot, intentionally crashing them into other vehicles. It “must have appeared to be a demolition derby,” the sheriff’s office described this madness. The result? A total of 31 cars and trucks damaged with an estimated prejudice of $225,000.

Not only did the auto repair shop’s owner had some of his own cars totaled in the incident, but a lot of the customers who were supposed to pick up theirs will now have to wait a while longer.

Best part? Some of the juveniles returned to the auto body yard the next day to create a sequel. In fact, that is how they got caught and detained. The entire group is facing trespassing, criminal mischief and vehicle burglary charges and will most likely end up regretting their idea.
