2025 Jeep Patriot Comes Back to Life, Sadly It's Just a Figment of Imagination

Today, you can snatch a wide variety of Jeep models around the world. Some are smaller, some are bigger, and a few also come in between. There's also a big choice of powertrains, too.
At home in America, you can snatch two of the cheapest Jeeps – Compass and Renegade – from a few hundred bucks over $28k. The iconic Wrangler then starts from a little over $32k, followed by, curiously, the Grand Cherokee ($36,495) and the Cherokee ($37,695), as well as the mighty Gladiator at almost $39k. Then there are also the big kahunas – the three-row Grand Cherokee L from $42,130, as well as the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer siblings from $61,595 and $91,190, respectively.

We can also mention that you can go out to have a field day in your sustainable 4xe Jeep if you choose the plug-in hybrid Wrangler or Grand Cherokee models, so there are obviously quite a few options to select from. However, Europe, for example, also gets access to the smaller Avenger in a bid to take advantage of the Old Continent's passion for compact crossover SUVs.

So, what if Jeep decided to increase its clout in America, too? Maybe that's not exactly possible in the real world, but the imaginative realm of digital car content creators has no trouble fulfilling anyone's dream. As such, meet Dimas Ramadhan, the virtual automotive artist behind the Digimods DESIGN channel on YouTube, who has taken up the task of revealing the Jeep Patriot's rebirth.

The nameplate was essentially a different take on the Jeep Compass that also debuted in 2006 at the New York Auto Show, and it shared the same GS architecture alongside the Dodge Caliber. A lot blockier than both of them, it was only offered with a 4WD system and enjoyed a short but sweet stint between the 2007 and 2017 model years. Oddly enough, Jeep ended production at the Chrysler Belvidere plant in Illinois of the Patriot while the model still had good sales despite starting to grow a little long in the tooth.

Well, the pixel master now thinks it's time for the 2025 Jeep Patriot to rise like the Phoenix and have another go at rocking the trails. This time around, the CGI expert envisions the Patriot as a modern off-roader inspired by the looks of the European Avenger at the front and the rest of the American Jeep CUVs at the sides and rear. And because of that, we have an interesting conundrum – where does the revived Patriot hypothetically fit in the lineup?

Sure, they could make it the new entry-level model, but with its off-road-focused chops, it's not viable to assume it would have a low starting MSRP. As such, maybe the sweet spot is somewhere between the Renegade/Compass and the Grand Cherokee/Cherokee. At around $33k to $35k, it could be seen as a solid 4x4 proposal for a unibody compact SUV that's more biased towards off-road adventures rather than long family trips. Cool or not?
