Yep, Toyota Motor Corporation has nailed yet another automotive hero – the umpteenth this year after the premieres of the 2024 Grand Highlander and its Lexus TX sibling, the 2024 Tacoma, or the 2024 Lexus GX 550. All hail the off-road king and legend – the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser.
The highlights are easy to grasp, though it's not as easy to keep tabs on them because there are so many running around in off-road drabs. For starters, the 2024 Land Cruiser (Prado or 250 in some other regions) is not the same as the J300 Land Cruiser introduced during the summer of 2021 but has a significant connection to it – the TNGA-F body-on-frame platform.

In America, the 2024 Land Cruiser not only looks incredibly vintage and cool in its two different trim guises - Land Cruiser 1958 and First Edition with round LEDs and regular Land Cruiser with squared front fascia. But it's also a hybrid superstar because it shares the i-Force Max powertrain (2.4-liter turbo inline-four plus electric assistance, 326 hp) with the N400 fourth-gen 2024 Tacoma mid-size pickup truck.

And don't dare to call it a Lexus GX clone because aside from (almost) the same profile, they differ vastly at the front, rear, and even inside the cabin, where Toyota granted Land Cruiser the luxury of physical knobs and buttons! Plus, has anyone seen the two front stylings alongside some of their predecessors, like the J70 or J80? The homage is perfect, and the resemblance is uncanny.

Anyway, such a big introduction surely traveled the world over – and it even broke into some parallel universes, such as the imaginative realm of digital car content creators. Some of them quickly went down the three-door route or wanted to see the Land Cruiser a little more streetable or as an off-road freak. But the good folks over at twinned AutoYa and AutoYa Interior YouTube channels were more conservative and went for the classic "quick overview" of the facts and figures.

Even better, the resident pixel master couldn't stay on the side while the host talked about all the juicy facts and figures that will presumably make the 2024 Land Cruiser a major sales hit across all regions where deliveries are set to start during various moments of 2024. Instead, the CGI expert also fiddled with some of the ritzier yet unofficial color options for the all-new off-road-focused SUV. And there's a large assortment, both for the exterior of the Land Cruiser and Land Cruiser 1958 trims as well as the fresh and modern yet ruggedly trendy cockpit.

As a reminder, Toyota has already revealed the 2024 Land Cruiser in a blue tint and a golden-like hue and is set to offer dual-tone combinations of Trail Dust and Heritage Blue with Grayscape roof, plus seven exterior choices: Ice Cap, Wind Chill Pearl, Underground, Black, Meteor Shower, Trail Dust, and Heritage Blue.
