Lotus has opened the order books for the Eletre in the United Kingdom and mainland Europe, confirming at the same time the starting price in the key markets and announcing that it's available in three versions with two powertrain options.
The lineup starts with the base model that features active air suspension, torque vectoring, continuous damping control, Matrix LED headlights, Visual Park Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Dynamic Chassis Control. It comes with 20-inch alloys in mainland Europe and a 22-inch set in the UK and also gets a 15-speaker premium audio system, four-zone climate control, head-up display, and front seats with electric adjustment.

Sitting in the middle is the Eletre S, said to be targeting "customers seeking luxury." It gets all of the above and adds a few other gizmos, like the rear privacy windows, illuminated side sills, configurable ambient lighting, doors with a soft-close feature, 23-speaker audio, different alloys, and an active rear spoiler to set it apart from the lesser offering.

Topping off the range is the Eletre R. The flagship model brings additional stuff to the equipment list, including the Pirelli P Zero grippy tires hugging the wheels that sport a glossy black look, Carbon Pack, Dynamic Handling Pack that adds Active Rear Steering and Intelligent Active Roll Control, and a sixth driving mode called Track that joins the Individual, Off-Road, Sport, Range, and Tour standard on the Eletre and Eletre S.

A comprehensive list of extras is available for the Lotus electric crossover. Here, the automaker mentions the Parking Pack, Highway Assist Pack, Comfort Seat Pack, Executive Seat Pack, Extended Carbon Fiber Pack, and Interior Carbon Fiber Pack. The Ceramic Brake Pack is limited to the Eletre R (and the S in mainland Europe), and the Carbon Pack and Dynamic Handling Pack, which are standard on the top-of-the-line model, are available as options on the other two.

Lotus' Eletre and Eletre S have a dual-motor setup producing a combined 603 hp (612 ps/450 kW) and 524 lb-ft (710 Nm) of torque. They take 4.5 seconds to hit 62 mph (100 kph) and have a 160 mph (258 kph) top speed. The Eletre R boasts 905 hp (918 ps/675 kW) and 726 lb-ft (985 Nm), needs 2.95 seconds for the sprint, and tops out at 165 mph (265 kph).

All feature a 112 kWh battery pack that takes 20 minutes to charge from ten to 80% at a 350 kW connection. On a full charge, the Eletre and Eletre S have a combined range of 373 miles (600 km) on the WLTP cycle, and the Eletre R has 304 miles (490 km).

Pricing for the Eletre, Eletre S, and Eletre R starts at £89,500 ($113,992), £104,500 ($133,096), and £120,000 ($152,838) in the United Kingdom, respectively. The entry-level model kicks off at €95,990 ($105,049) in Germany, and for mid-spec and range-topper, interested parties have to fork out €120,990 ($132,408) and €150,990 ($165,239), respectively.
