For those who would take the e-tron over the I-Pace, EQC, and even the Model X, the four-ringed automaker is much obliged to offer potential customers the means to configure their electric crossover online. Those who go forward with the configuration are then charged $1,000 as a refundable deposit, but that’s not all.
Once production is approaching, the customer will have 30 days to finalize the configuration before the build is locked into the system and sent to the Brussels factory in Belgium for manufacturing. As for pricing, the cheapest e-tron is the Premium Plus, starting at $74,800 without including the $7,500 government incentive.

Ten exterior colors are available in total, starting with the no-cost Brilliant Black. The remaining nine are all metallic, priced at $595. Wheel sizes begin at 20 inches as standard, and the Driver Assistance Plus Package adds adaptive cruise assist with traffic jam assistant, intersection assistant, active lane assist with turn & emergency assistance for $2,850.

Customers living in colder climates shouldn’t ignore the Cold Weather Package ($900), which includes preconditioning for the cabin and battery, plus integrated windshield wiper washer jets. As for towing, $650 unlocks the maximum towing capacity of 4,000 pounds.

Of the less interesting options available in the United States, the e-tron can be equipped with “rear side airbags and illuminated seat belt buckles.” Fashion statement or safety feature, you decide if it is worth paying $400 for this optional extra.

Last, but not least, Audi Care costs $999 and is a great deal when you think about it. Included in the price, the customer receives pre-paid scheduled maintenance servicing after the complimentary 10,000-mile or 12-month scheduled maintenance service. One Audi Care covers four subsequent services, and that’s a-OK from a financial standpoint.

In addition to the Premium Plus, the 2019 Audi e-tron is also available in Prestige flavor ($81,800). The First Edition, which is limited to the 2019 model year, is the icing on the cake at $86,700.
