The aura of mystery Ford Performance still likes to surround the GT350/R with is slowly starting to disappear. Today we’re here to talk about an enthusiast’s stint inside the GT350, one that’s been nicely documented in a video.
The man, who has reportedly ordered one, was invited by his dealer to sit inside a demo car. As he explains on the Mustang6G forums, he got to play with the interior a bit and was particularly drawn to the Performance Apps on the Sync 3 infotainment system.

Nevertheless, we have to start with the speedometer. Interestingly enough, this reads 330 km/h. Since we’re not five anymore, we’ve given up on the idea that a car can reach the exact top speed shown on its dashboard. Still, it’s nice to be treated with that information.

Nevertheless, it’s strange to have the velocity in the metric system. What can you make out the idea that the dash doesn’t spell “205 mph” instead? We’re not quite sure. We have no doubts about the GT350 coming to Europe, but, as the sticker on the car reads “PP”,. this is a Pilot Production vehicle, so we can’t jump to all that many conclusions.

Performance Apps

As for the Sync 3 part of the deal, this GT350 was fitted with the Technology Package, which meant it offered a wide range of goodies to play with. As a result, the footage shows us the man browsing the Performance Apps menus.

We can see treats such as the two exhaust mods (Normal and Sport), Line Lock, Launch Control, as well as a Performance Shift Indicator that allows the driver to set up the tone for the audible alert.

And this is how the anticipation just became even greater...
