Dodge Charger Hellcat Does 1/8 Mile Burnout Right in Front of the Dealership

By now, we've seen all sorts of Hellcat burnouts, but it seems that, when it comes to melting rubber, the world can never have too much of it. Thus, we are now bringing you one of the wildest Hellcat burnouts we’ve seen so far.

A Dodge Charger owner wanted to show the world just how proud he was of his acquisition, so he pulled a monster burnout right in front of the Dodge dealership in Elk Groove, California.

The 707 ponies were unleashed on Auto Passage Dr and while we haven’t visited the scene for measurements, we think it’s safe to say the muscle sedan pulled an 1/8 mile tire-spinning stunt.

We’ll remind you this isn’t the first time in 2015 when a fresh owner establishes a burnout connection between his machine and the showroom. Last time we talked about it, the 2015 Corvette Z06 was the car in question.

And while the burnout we’re discussed today is measured in length, the Z06 one was all about the duration, lasting one minute. Neverthtless, that was done in a parking lot, which brought it into a different league, at least as far as the law is concerned.

Before you hit the “play” button below and dip into the rubber-burning Mopar madness, keep in mind this was an illegal move, one that took place just a lane away from parked vehicles.

The Charger Hellcat driver used the double yellow line as a marker, following it with care until the tires stopped smoking. The result? Two straight 275-section black lines.
