We catalogued as gibberish Chevrolet's attempt to use emojis in an official press release about their upcoming 2016 Chevy Cruze. It took us some time to decipher the smiley faces-filled text, but in the end we came up with a more or less accurate translation.
However, Chevrolet came out today offering a solution for the unusual riddle. All in all, the overall message is "you are going to love the new Cruze".
So, allow us to test how fluent we are in emoji language. For that, we'll make a quick comparison of what we managed to understand and what Chevrolet actually meant with the written emoji soup. Here's our 'translated' version of the press release and what we thought the next-gen Cruze will be like:
