If you like the looks of the quirky 500 but want to save the Australian cuscus and the polar ice cap as well, then the all-electric 500e is the right car for you. Introduced last year and sold only in the state of California, Fiat North America decided to make the nippy city dweller available in Oregon as well.
It's hardly a mystery why the Italian brand settled for Oregon when you consider this state is not only a populous state, but it's also laden with youngsters with a passion for environmental activism. So what's there to make these young ones trade their hybrids for a brand new 2015 model year Fiat 500e? Well…

…they'll surely like to hear that the all-electric 500e boasts with 108 highway MPGe and class-leading 87 miles of combined driving range. Furthermore, the city driving range normally averages 100 miles. Then there's the leasing option. It's not necessary to pay in full for the contraption. As such, Fiat charges you $999 when you sign up for a lease and $199 / month for the following 36 months to own the lil' EV.

If you were to pay in full, that would set you back at least $31,800. For the 2015 model year, the 500e is coming with a redesigned center console, a new cup holder design and an additional USB port. Two paint colors have been added for 2015 for a total of seven available exterior hues, including new Luce Blu (pearl finish light blue) and Celeste (light blue).

“Bringing the Fiat 500e to Oregon gives more customers in this environmentally minded state the opportunity to enjoy the Italian style and engaging driving dynamics of the Fiat 500, but with zero tailpipe emissions,” declared Mr. Jason Stoicevich, head of the Fiat brand in North America.
