It must be a great job working as a BMW test driver and heading out on the Nurburgring every day to try and find the slightest defects in cars developed by the M division.
With the summer just around the corner and the Green Hell drying out and becoming more and more welcoming by the day, testing new cars is in full swing, not only at BMW but also other manufacturers.

One of the latest models caught on camera by our friends over at TouriClips is the upcoming BMW F86 X6 M, the super fast and aggressive Sport Activity Coupe that is going to be unveiled later this year, most likely at the Paris Auto Show this autumn.

The new car will have a new exterior design and, hopefully, new interior looks as we’ve grown tired of the same BMW interiors for the last 10 years. The front fascia, despite being covered in the video below, will surely look a lot like the one on the new X4, falling right into place within the new design cues used in Munich.

What you can hear in the short spy video is the 4.4-liter V8 S63 engine that will power this beast, probably making the same 560 HP and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque as on the M5. However, combined with the weight reduction program the car will undertake, the specs and performance of the F86 model should top those of the outgoing version. We’ll just have to wait and see but that V8 sounds glorious!
