The Audi Q3 is coming to America! Is that good news? We'd really like to hear from you guys, the potential customers and even existing ones from Europe. There hasn't been a lot of buzz around this small SUV from the land of quattro, even though it could be a relative bargain in its segment.
The Q3 was presented in US-sped 2015 model year form at the Detroit Auto Show last week. That's where Consumer Reports' Tom Mutchler sampled the car and gave us his impression. According to him, some of the plastics are not as good as as other Audis. However, you've got to keep in mind that the BMW X1 isn't exactly a luxury limo either.

Being the smallest SUV Audi has ever made, the Q3 feels somewhat crammed. Again, this is from a luxury ca point of view and not the general market. Where we think this vehicle really shines is in the spec department. The new SUV will also come with a panoramic sunroof, LED daytime running lights, leather upholstery, xenon headlights, heated and electric front seats and more.

We don't know what it will cost yet, but considering it's only got a 2-liter turbo engine, expect the Q3 to sticker somewhere between a BMW X1 and Mercedes GLK, which comes with a V6.
