Revealed about two weeks ago, the 2014 Mercedes S63 AMG will deliver 585 HP for the joy of its future customers. While some will consider that amount sufficient, others may still wait for the more powerful S65 version to arrive.
Even though official details have yet to be revealed, word has it the S65 AMG will top the S63 by 45 HP, which translated into a total output of 630 HP. As usual, all that horsepower will be sent to the wheels by a 6.0-liter V12 powerplant connected to an AMG Speedshift MCT seven-speed gearbox.
The combo will enable the sedan to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in four seconds, while fuel consumption is rumored to stand at 11.6 liters/100 km (20 mpg US). From the same report we learn that the 2014 S65 AMG could be fitted with the company's Magic Body Control.
In other related news, Brabus also revealed its new program for the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, with the range-topping B63S set to deliver 730 HP.
