Scheduled to go on sale starting January 3, 2014, the brand new Mazda3 will arrive in British showrooms with prices ranging from £16,695 to £23,345 OTR, the Japanese automaker announced today.
The 2014 Mazda3 will become available in two body styles and with four engine options - 1.5-liter with 100 HP, 2.0-liter with 120 HP and 165 HP, and a 2.2-liter diesel with 150 HP - and a choice of six-speed manual and automatic transmissions.
There are five equipment levels to choose from, which means that customers can pick out of no less than 21 hatchback and 15 fastback models. Standard equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels, body-color door handles, halogen headlamps, daytime running lights, premium black cloth trim, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, piano black dashboard, auto-dimming rear-view mirror and trip computer.
Entry-level cars also sport standard air-conditioning, remote control central locking, stop/start, gear-shift indicator, electric windows, Dynamic Stability Control, Traction Control System, Hill Hold Assist, and front/front side/curtain airbags, among other safety and convenience features.
Factory fitted options include Metallic/Mica/Pearlescent paint, Soul Red Metallic paint, black leather interior, Light Stone leather interior and the Safety Pack. More details are available in the press release below. Full pricing can be found in the attached photo gallery.
