Back in August, Lexus said it is working a LF-CC-based race car for the 2014 Japanese Super GT Series GT500 class, but declined to reveal further info about its latest track-prepped monster.
Well, the Nagoya-headquartered company is still mum on details, but a recently-uploaded video on YouTube shows the GT500 being tested at the Fuji track. It's not like we haven't seen it before, but this is the first footage that shows the orange beast in action. That's right, you'll get to hear the car's noisy turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.
As a reminder, the Lexus LF-CC two-door coupe concept was introduced at the 2012 Paris Motor Show as a study that features a dynamic exterior with emphasis on aerodynamics. The vehicle’s design is said to preview the new Lexus RC (IS Coupe).
