We know what you’re thinking – that the Ford Fiesta will never be a sedan. And indeed no such prototypes have ever been spotted, but the essence of the hot hatch (in general) can be distilled into many forms. Renault builds the 220 hp Megane Estate, while in America the Civic Si is supposed to be a rival to the GTI.
So why not hove a Ford Fiesta ST Sedan? It certainly looks good, standing there with its big alloy wheels and imposing front end.

The exciting news about the new Fiesta ST is that while the previous one had a 2-liter with 150 horsepower, this one will be sold in America with a 1.6-liter EcoBoost producing 197 horsepower. Wouldn’t that be great to have in a small sedan?

Ford has already shown its willingness to change, as the Focus ST is now either a 5-door o a wagon. So if fast, small sedans is what you really want from the Blue Oval, now is your chance to speak up!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
