Chevrolet will be adding a Deep Magenta Metallic exterior color to the 2014 Camaro, the Detroit-based automaker announced earlier this week. The color will become available next month and it’s expected to debut at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show.
The flashy exterior color is not exactly new in the Chevrolet lineup. The manufacturer offered the Deep Magenta Metallic on the Sonic subcompact as a limited edition color from August through December.
“You will be able to see it a couple of miles away,” John Fitzpatrick, Chevrolet marketing manager for performance cars told Edmunds. “I think a lot of people who want to stand out are going to go after that color”.
Chevrolet has yet to release photos with the Camaro wearing its new high impact shade, but you’ll find a couple of pictures of the Deep Magenta Metallic Sonic in our photo gallery section below.
