Volkswagen has cut the Passat from its name, fitted different grilles and lights and launched the 2013 CC sedan onto the US market, at the same time slapping on a slightly bigger price tag. The base car is the 2.0L TSI Sport model will be the $30,250 with a manual gearbox excluding destination and handling. If you want an automatic gearbox with that, you’ll have to pay $1,100 more.
The more powerful VR6 model comes in at $37,730, while the 4Motion model is $31,420.

Standard equipment for the 2013 model fatigue detection, RCD 310 radio-CD system, stainless steel door sill plates and safety head restraints with additional front-rear adjustment.

Safety features include technologies such as Side Assist Plus including Lane Assist, Dynamic Light Assist and a camera-based traffic sign detection system.
