Japanese automaker Suzuki has introduced a slightly revised Swift supermini in the United Kingdom. Scheduled to go on sale later this year, the 2013 Suzuki Swift will have a starting price of £10,799 OTR.
The vehicle’s minor exterior updates for 2013 include a new front bumper, a redesigned grille and new LED rear break lights. LED daytime running lights are only available on the SZ4 version, while the SZ3 has received new design 16-inch alloy wheels and standard fog lamps. A new optional Boost Blue metallic body color that costs £430 was also added.
Inside, the Suzuki Swift offers a new design seat fabric, but still doesn’t have standard air-conditioning. You’re going to have to order the SZ3 or SZ4 trims to get some ventilation. The 2013 Swift comes with a choice of two engines under the bonnet. The 1.2-liter four-cylinder petrol unit, which delivers 94 HP and 118 Nm, and the 1.3-liter diesel that’s good for 75 HP and 190 Nm.
Priced from £10,799 (3-door 1.2-liter SZ2 manual), the 2013 Suzuki Swift can cost as much as £15,139 if ordered as a 5-door 1.3-liter diesel SZ4 manual model. For full pricing see our photo gallery section below.
