It looks like Bimota is still alive and kicking, despite the fact that we rarely get too spot their bikes in the wild and nobody knows exactly financial figures and how do they exactly fare. And just to prove that Bimota is just than a name, this year's EICMA in Milan, Italy saw not one, but two new superbikes.
Here's the Supercharged Bimota DB11 VLX, and upgraded version of the older DB11. The base model produced around 165 hp, but thanks to the supercharger Bimota has installed in the VLX, the power output now reaches in excess of 190 hp.

The power plant is a Ducati 1198 L-twin aided by a twin-screw supercharger which adds the extra juice for a serious thrill boost. Remains to see the price tags for the 2013 Supercharged Bimota DB11 VLX and compare it with the BMW S1000RR-powered BB2, as both bikes now sport almost the same power outputs.

Bimota's high-speed machines look as sporty as it gets, however, but once again, we'd like to know the price.
