Here's the all-new Ducati Hyperstrada, a bike which extends the common knowledge (and usage) of the traditional hypermotard and open a new range of fun possibilities. Basically, we're looking at a touring-hypermotard, dedicated to all those who enjoy both the original bike's brawn and assertiveness and the pleasant joys of long rides.
The 2013 Hyperstrada is loaded with the nifty technological goodies Ducati has to offer: ABS and the famous Ducati Traction Control with its 3 mappings (Sport- 110 HP, Touring- 110 HP smooth delivery and Urban – 75 HP).
Handlebars have been raised by 20 mm for a more comfortable ride and a center stand has been added for parking when loaded. Add in the windshield and the wider, 12V outlet and the thicker-cushion seat for long rides and you get a truly nice touring machine with quite an attitude.
The 2013 Ducati Hyperstrada comes with Kayaba USD forks and a remotely-adjustable Sachs rear shock, and Panigale-style 10-spoke cast aluminium wheels. Available for $13,395 (€10, 568).
