Good news from the iron men camp as both Dani Pedrosa and Jorge Lorenzo announced they will be with their teams at Laguna Seca in the US, this weekend, for the last round before the 3-week summer break.
Both riders crashed at Sachsenring, Germany, last week and missed the race. Dani Pedrosa suffered a small fracture in his collarbone and decided to skip the race due to low blood pressure and dizziness. Jorge Lorenzo also crashed, bending the titanium plate keeping his already broken collarbone in place and requiring a new surgery.

Pedrosa added he was quite happy to learn that he only had a minor fracture and not a severe shoulder injury. The Honda and Yamaha riders said they would ride in the practice session and decide upon their ability to race at Laguna Seca.

The Californian circuit is physically demanding and we can only hope the guys can stop if they feel the Laguna Seca is too much for their condition. We really don't want to see them crashing and being injured again.
