Ducati Team test rider Michele Pirro will get another chance to throw a leg over a GP bike at Brno, in the Czech Republic for the 35 August race, as he will substitute for Ben Spies once more.
Having already done so on more occasions, Michele Pirro has also done a great job, beating is previous best position in a MotoGP race as he was the 7th rider to cross the finish line at Mugello, in Italy earlier this year.

Spies has a nasty highside crash in FP3 last weekend in Indianapolis, and sustained a new shoulder injury. However, he was somehow lucky enough to hurt his left shoulder this time, with the recently recovered right one safe and sound.

No news on which bike will Pirro ride at Brno, but we might expect that Ducati will use this opportunity for some more real-life testing under racing conditions for the GP13 "lab bike" Michele has been working on so far.

As for Spies, all we know now is that his shoulder injury is nothing near his 2012 one, but there's no telling yet whether he'll be back for the UK round at Silverstone.
