The weather cleared out in Spain yesterday, so the tests at the MotorLand Aragon circuit followed their proper course. Freshly arrived from Barcelona, Suzuki and Randy de Puniet have had troubles braking aboard the new XHR-1 prototype we get too see Hamamatsu returning with in 2015. Their testing will continue today.
Dani Pedrosa put up 62 laps, on both the 2013 and the 2014 machine, and has called it a day, taking his time to provide feedback on the new prototype. Marquez is still at Aragon and he plans to do extensive testing with the 2014 RC213V, after lapping 1m48s434 aboard the current bike, being a fraction of a second faster than Casey Stoner was on the same track 2 years ago.

LCR Honda's Stefan Bradl did extensive testing on the 2014 prototype and improved his personal times, but so far believes it was only the new tires which helped him be faster.

Jorge Lorenzo was the fastest rider at MotorLand with a blistering 1m48s076 while his team mate Valentino Rossi declared that the new settings for the front end of his M1 machine provide an improved feel. Yamaha has already wrapped up their presence at MotorLand Aragon and say they've accomplished their goals, so it's resting time a bit. Or maybe they are also taking care of their engines...
